I go to Jean in the back for my son. He has generated a good following because he is present, his technique, and he gives the customer exactly what they want. My son has never complained about any of his haircuts. Keep up the great work
I'm very particular about who cuts my hair. It is important that my hair, and the style I want to be handled with precision and professionalism. I have been in many barber shops, and left disappointed, but at Top Notch; I was greeted warmly and friendly when I came in the door. I was offered services quickly in a nonthreatening way, and I felt comfortable in the very competent and talented hands of one of the new barber's... Majestic. I was afforded the opportunity to witness the culture in the shop, as well as the overwhelming talent this shop has in it's arsenal. There was not one barber who did not turn out stellar work in the form of precision haircuts that day. The owner, is always with clients, which is a testament to the barbering legacy he is cultivating and nourishing. If you want your hair cut or, Ladies, if you want your hair styled by stylists who truly know their craft; you DEFINITELY have to get over to TOP NOTCH BARBERSHOP on Broad River Road across from GameStop. Definitely see Majestic, he is Awesome cutting both men and women's hair!
This place gets 5 stars because of the barber I took my nephews to. Skinny is respectful of your appointment time and works quickly and efficiently. He has customers for life with my sons and nephews. If you don't like rap music u may want to bring headphones while you wait but Skinny is the man to use. Period
First time going there and I was super impressed. Had to wait for a little while as they were busy, but definitely worth the wait. Roderick was on point as I knew by his details during the cut that I was going to be pleased. Everyone inside was very nice and the shop was clean. Very ingenious idea of using tool lockers for their equipment. I would definitely go again!
The lady Janet that do locks there she's very good at what she does. When I go there I look forward for the hairwash she do a very good job on your hair and her hairstyles she gives you. Every time it's a unique and different one. I always get lots of compliments and ppl admiring my hair when she does it. She's a five star hair stylist. Even though she's moves quickly she's very efficient. I would recommend her to anyone needing their hair braided or locks.
This was the first barbershop that I and my sons came to when first moving to Columbia in 2015. Still going til this day, 2017. I frequent Billy(with the dreadlocs). Always been 10 to 25 depending on the cut for me and my boys. Billy will definitely have you looking good. Everyone else on the shop is cool. Love the big screen.
Nice, clean, experienced barbers & stylists. Plus my daughter owns the food spot in the shops kitchen called "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN" Great Food!!! So stop by for a cut and/or style and grab a plate of delicious food ...
I get my haircut here because it is a nice family environment. Low wait times with good barbers. You can get everything hair done here braids, dreds, stylist, or just a good cut. The shop has two sides one for men and women which is awesome because i can take the whole family for walk in or on appointment. The stylist for the women are more appointment based due to the fact that it takes longer for those services.
